When I got engaged (honestly, even before the engagement), I know that I wanted to go dress shopping at Anne Barge, specifically because fo the Foster gown. I have always loved seeing gowns that I consider "tastefully sexy" (conservative neckline, but still showing the bride's figure). The dress itself was stuff, but the way it made me feel is what I'll remember beyond the wedding day. My gown made me feel timeless and elegant while still very true to myself and my style. Over and over, I have said that I genuinely feel privileged to have worn that gown.
My favorite part of the wedding day was our ceremony. We got lucky, and the fall leaves in the area were peaking the weekend we got married! The cross was decorated with white roses and foliage our florist cut from my parent's property, right down the road from the venue. The best part of our ceremony was when the Clydesdale horses on the property came up to the fence behind the cross as the wedding party walked down the aisle. They stood there for the remainder of the ceremony. We'll forever treasure the image of that cross, the horses, and the sun setting over the foothills in the background. So many things came together to make it more beautiful than we ever could've planned!
Words from our Anne Barge Atelier Bride- Kelly Nelson Russell
Kelly wore the classic Foster gown from our Anne Barge line. Foster is a bateau neckline princess seam trumpet gown of mikado with a V-back neckline accented with a bow.
